Congratulations to Siobhan Leclerc who received the Grange Educator Award during the annual Antrim Grange Community Awards Night at the Antrim Town Hall on Wednesday, May 20. The Educator Award, often referred to as the "Teacher of the Year" award, recognizes educators who exhibit outstanding service to their communities.
Several of Leclerc's fellow teachers at Great Brook Middle School and ConVal Superintendent Dr. Ann Forrest were in attendance to celebrate the award with her.
IAT teacher Patrick Cogan noted in his speech at the event: "I met Siobhan nearly 15 years ago and, from that very first day, one thing was abundantly clear: her heart belongs to her students. For over two decades, Siobhan has poured her time, energy, and love into the Great Brook School community. ... Now in her 23rd year of teaching, she still shows up every single day with the exact same positive energy and radiant smile that has inspired generations of students."
Congratulations, Siobhan, on a well-deserved award!
